PLEASE NOTE: The retail network listed here is for loading funds onto a physical, plastic Wave card only using credit, debit, or cash.
You cannot load funds onto a virtual Wave card in the Wave app at a retail location.
Funds for a virtual card (on the Wave app) must be loaded within the app itself using credit and debit only.
Get a Wave Smart Card
Wave smart cards are currently available at 7-Eleven, Shaw’s and Walgreens with a $5 activation fee.
You can reload your Wave smart card at CVS, Speedway, Family Dollar, 7-Eleven, Shaw’s, Walgreens. Please note that you may only reload your Wave card with cash at Family Dollar.

Wave smart cards are also available by mail. To request a smart card, create an account online by clicking “sign in” and “register” in the top right.
